(About PorePore Concert 2002)
(the part of my letter to ONE OF MY BESTFRIEND)

Sunday was the day event for Sheena and Rokkets to join "PorePore Concert", and I went there!!I really enjoyed this day and I was..WIKED This event aimed for handicapped ppl to have rock concert. For me, I have never had a chance to together with handicaped ppl and this event is the third year for parents to joined this and this was my first time to go there. Before I've been there, I had something different expect for me to visit this event, but my expect was completely far from my expect, I just found there was so miracle atmosphere in the hill over there.
It is held in Yokohama, it is a famouse place for China Town for tourist. And the concert place is next to the China Town, there is a small hill and when you get there, you can see only sky view. And there is a sound system and stage on the ground, many ppl were there. When I get there, it was just good timing Sheena and Rokkets're playing their favorite tune "Susie Q", really rock performance. They're really cool and I exited. Cocert was really cool (of cause!) but what is really cool thing is audience. I felt what a wonderful mood now. I saw there is handicaped ppl dancing hard for the ridim. A guy looked young (or old I didn't know) in the audience was suddenly turn back to the audience and waving to someone but there is no one, signing to far above my head, was the sky! I just realized he was just feeling happiness, so I felt more and more happy. All ppl were feeling it's like heaven. We could share happiness. I felt I am not the one crazy. Everybody were. That's just like a dream, love and peace, that's all. What a wonderful day!!

名前は「本牧ポレポレコンサート2002｣。ここ横浜市中区の障害者団体が毎年開催している「ポレポレまつり｣からもらいました。 「PolePole｣-スワヒリ語で「ゆっくりやろうよ｣「ぼちぼちやるか・・｣という意味です。自分たちのペースで「ゆっくりやれたらいいね｣ 障害を持つ人も、そうでない人も、気がねなく楽しめるコンサートを共に作り上げることができたら素晴らしいですね。 ポレポレ２００２コンサート・ホームページより
